After a long interruption, here are some news of Autonomous House of Kenya.
From February 12 to 16, Father Bedel, with some few Kenyan faithful, has been for the first time in Tanzania, in Mwanza, where a group of around sixty persons was waiting for him.
On Sunday March 12, Bishop Fellay was present among us. He solemnly blessed our church Holy Cross and gave the sacrament of confirmation to 10 parishioners.
On the same week, our pre-seminarian joined our seminary in Australia.
From March 24 to 27, Father Bedel went to Uganda to minister to our group of Kampala.
On Palm Sunday, Father Bedel was in Mombasa, where the faithful are busy to find a suitable place so that they can get a fixed Mass centre and an accommodation for the priest.
On Thursday April 13, Maundy Thursday, has been made more beautiful by the putting in of a stained glass window, offered by a family of the parish. It shows the Crucifixion of our Lord, according to the name the church. It has been made in Kenya.
During the Easter Vigil, 6 adults and teenagers were baptised and, on Easter day, 4 babies became children of God.
From April 20 to 25, Father Nouveau went to Djibouti to lend spiritual support to around thirty faithful. During that stay, 3 children have received Holy Communion for the first time.
From May 12 to 15, Father Nouveau is in Uganda.
On Saturday June 4, Father Nouveau is in Nyeri, at the foot of Mount Kenya, to say the Mass for our faithful who are there. He promised to visit this small group 3 times a year.
On June 11, Father Bedel, who is in Mombasa, viewed a flat for a future installation. Unfortunately, it was too expensive.
On Sunday June 18, procession of Corpus Christi for the first time in the neighbourhood of Lavington.
